After a recall of the Reversible BackUp Speed Scale (Reversible BUSS available on A320 Family and A330/A340), the presentation focuses on the Digital Backup Speed function with:
• New speed monitoring with flags to identify the erroneous ADR speed that eases the trouble shooting.
• New or modified ECAM procedures to provide the appropriate ADR switching.
• If necessary, display and computation of the Digital Backup Speed (independent of anemometric data) to still fly a speed ( contrary to the BUSS green band).
